The goal with my art is to involve the viewer so that they really look and assess each painting. I contradict styles and techniques within an artwork, blending the images together like a tapestry. Painting areas photo-realistically and pitching them against areas of abstraction, layering up the canvas with fleeting inspiration and controlled draughtsmanship, suggesting the ‘duality of man’ or the “Jekyll and Hyde” in all of us.
